About

Alex Taylor, an emerging designer, shapes environments through observation, refined by constraint, and built to serve the rhythms of real life.

Her work draws from a decade in design research and strategy, fields that taught her how to listen closely, translate complexity, and bring ideas into form. She now applies those instincts to interiors: shaping spaces that are deeply considered, emotionally grounded, and responsive to the way people actually live.

Alex has temporarily relocated from St. Paul, MN to Florence, IT for the 2025/2026 academic year to pursue formal training in interior design at the Florence Institute of Design International, deepening her practice and grounding her creative instincts in technical study.

“The design of our environment reflects and shapes our understanding of the world, both through intellectual means and in primal, intuitive ways that reason alone cannot easily comprehend.”

— Shashi Caan, Rethinking Design and Interiors
